Cottage Flora

I am joining Fishtail Cottage for Cottage Flora Thursday. You should pop over and check out all the beautiful flowers.

This is a Texas Star Hibiscus.

This is a Hardy Hibiscus, and the plant is full of blooms. It must thrive on the heat because it gets the afternoon sun.

It is so very hot here in East Texas it is a wonder anything is still blooming. It has been a hundred degrees here for the last couple of days and it does not look like it will be changing this week.

We have some potted hibiscus on our deck that gets alot of water.

If you read my blog you know I love pink , so naturally this is my favorite.

Well, I learned something today. I did not know about the Texas star hibiscus! Thanks for introducing me to this pretty bloom - and obviously tough plant if it can withstand our weather!

I love the hibiscus flower. It's so big and makes such a beautiful garden flower. I only wish I could grow them in NJ.

Your hibiscus are gorgeous - can't grow anything like that here in Washington. Lovely post and photos!

Visiting from Cottage Flora Thursday ~ Hope you have a lovely weekend.

You and I have flowers in common! I also collect hibiscus. Have 8 varieties now. Wonder if I can find the Texas Star here.
