Enjoying life's simple pleasures. We got some much needed rain today in East Texas. Thank-you Lord for your blessings. After the rain the hummingbirds were every where. They are just so cute.

I got some (new) old scales at Canton . Girls Gone Junkin has moved into the cutest booth. It is worth the visit just to see all the fun stuff they have. Squash fresh from the garden, yummy we had it for supper. Fried of course and it was delicious.

I bought some old windows at Canton and a little end table from Salvation Army and made this cute glass house. I just love old windows. I am in the process of making another little glass house and I found the cutest little light to put in it. I can't wait to finish it.

Farm fresh eggs, straight from Our Cottage Nest. We have fresh eggs daily.

I love sitting around and watching my garden grow. Just a few more days and we will be able to pick and fry this squash. There is just nothing better than fresh vegetables.

I hope you have all had a Happy Memorial Day and paused to pray for the service men and women who are serving our country.

What do you collect? I just love these cute little salt and pepper shakers. They are hard to find. I saw these at a little antique shop in Nacogdoches, TX. If you have never been down town Nacogdoches you are missing a treat. Lots of cute little shops.
